A perennial powerhouse in MOHAA. These guys are just good people. I've ran into Real Deal, Scarface, Druid & Deisel most often. It's always a good time (more when your on their side). They are quick to make you feel welcome on their server or recognize you in someone elses server. They are highly skilled and well organized players. So if you want to imrove your skills stop by their servers. Leave the hacks at home, you'll need Missionary to get in.

The saying, "Location, Location, Location." is as true for gaming servers as it is for real estate. Most server providers offer comparable hardware. But not all have the location, bandwidth and customer support neccessary to provide a fast, fluid and lag free gaming enviroment.

Prices for these servers can vary drastically from provider to provider. I've looked around and found a 20 man server can run from $50 to $130 depending on the provider. Some providers also offer additional services or incentives such as: web space, Team Speak and/or Ventrilo, stats pages and user friendly online control panels.

With the growing number of providers out there it's getting harder and harder to make sure you get the best bang for your buck. If you have a great server or a horror story let us know.

I believe their clan leader, King Arthur, says it best, "We are a Medal of Honor clan based off the movie "Monty Python's Holy Grail". Keeping in that fashion, we pledged to be the silliest clan in the Medal of Honor community. We firmly believe in having fun, keeping our server friendly and clean of all foul language, hackers, and those who are not silly."

This server is simply a good time. They run Castle Anthrax and Objective maps in Team Death Match mode. It's a nice change of pace without having to download any custom maps.

To quote Sir Robin "That's enough singing for now, lads... looks like there's dirty work afoot."

If you play MOHAA then you know what the Reverend is. It has given back OGL matches to skilled players and not hacks. Or has it?

Has it really stopped the hackers in their tracks or simply sent them looking for ways around or through the program? Is there some sinister super hack out there that is now in use?

I've heard the rumors...

• A sound hack that allows you to hear when people walk.
  
• A shadow hack that shows players shadows through walls.
  
• Server setting manipulation by the host team.
  
• Throwing lag at players through an open cmd prompt.
  

Or is it simply that the majority of the remaining players in the leagues Top Teams are so obsessed with this game that they know every glitch, every strategic spot so well that they anticipate the opposing teams every move.

If you play an average of 3 hours a day (12 - 15 minute rounds) for the course of 3 years you will have played 13,140 rounds. That means a dedicated player will have seen any one map no fewer than 2,100 times. Could the longevity of MOHAA and the limited number of stock maps be both the recipe for it's success and the fuel for continued rumors of cheating in matches despite Reverend?

The first thing I noticed when entering their server is that it's sniper only (no pistols or nades). I wish it would have said that in the server description. Only problem was nobody was sniping! Just running around like a bunch of nervous sheep in a prison yard full of horny convicts with velcro gloves on. Lag was unbearable. Average fps was 20 - 30. If that wasn't bad enough they kicked two players (for unspecified reasons) in 2 rounds of play. Of course they happened to be the high scorer of each round on the opposing side to the TOOL Clan. After I was kicked I checked out their website.

Slogan... "We Own You, Get Owned Today" Hmmmm..... Sounds familiar....

If you like variety this clan has 5 servers running different game styles. I am looking forward to trying out the modern warfare mod. I've spent most of my time in their CKR server. It was busy and and spam free. Yet another cheat free server for the pure MOHAA enthusiast. Bald Assassin has assembled a fine group of MOHAA players. None FINER than Sexy Vickstar.

Since the initial review DMG has went to #1 with an overall record of (36-12).

Currently ranked #2 on OGL 6v6 TDM ladder with a record of (29-5). This is another crew full of insomniacs. They seem to be on 24/7 which could explain their level of play. Their leaders Ashe and Wargasmatron are good people, I've been server haunting them for almost a year.

Another good server to kill a little time in. Their members are quick to interact with you and make you feel welcome. It's a missionary optional server so you know they are serious about keeping a cheat free enviroment.

JediMojo, Painbringer & Jeremiah Johnson were in the server when I stopped by and it was a great time.

With talent like Saints & OCcisor the Hoods future should be a bright one. Saints and I cross paths quite often. He seems to have good taste in servers. This is one bad offspring. Some of the best from MOB decided to step out on their own and thus The Last Dons were born. The leadership and talent are definately apparent in their (7-1) record and Top 10 ladder position in OGL 6v6 TDM. They are most definately a force to be reckoned with. I've had the pleasure of mixing it up with with Raistlin, Tbone & IRONic quite a few times. (You might have to use All Seeing Eye to hunt them down, they are often terrorizing other servers.) Patience and persistance are your best allies when in the server. Run and gun and you'll be spawning alot.

This is one of the newest MOHAA leagues to show up on the net. With clans like Player |X|, MYTH, Relentless Elite, The Last Dons, 3rd SS, Wolverines, Band of Mutineers, Diecast Illusion and VX9 amongst the IGS ranks it is off to a good start. Just match the clan names up with the Top 20 in OGL and you'll see the similarities.

Very user friendly site. The league has enough twists in the rules to make it fresh and interesting. Check it out.

A former Top 10 OGL 6v6 and 2v2 clan. They are now concentrating on the new IGS league. The league they compete in may have changed but many of the players remain the same. Their webmaster Camalus has done a great job bringing together some talented MOHAA players. Camalus & Wargazm/Atlas are the ones I most often run into. Their server is almost always active (if they are not out terrorizing other servers). They are good people and easy to engage in conversation.

No matter where you run into these guys be prepared to endure some deaths. They are patient and aggressive. I've ran into Himmler & Hermann  often in the last 6 months and for the most part have held my own. It took some time however to get to that point. Don't get frustrated if you get hammered on their server just keep coming back. Playing against some of the best players in MOHAA will do nothing but improve your skills.

Another cheat free server to play on. Just don't say or do anything (that includes killing him too many times) in their server that Wildkardde doesn't like. You will be banned no questions asked. He is quick to let you know he founded the clan and pays for the server... so anything he says goes without need for consulting any other members. If you can look past that Spears, Cartegna, Kilroy and Creepin are a great bunch of MOHAA players.

An extremely talented collection of players. They can be found in the Top 10 on OGL's 6v6 ladder. I've played against Slowdrown, Hades, antman and Timber. Going positive was not an easy accomplishment. It was a good time, thanks for the competition.

These individuals are lower than low. They lack the skill to compete on an even playing field. They relish in the idea of owning someone with downloaded gaming ability. NEWSFLASH the only owning that goes on is when one of these limp little computer noobs comes into a server and gets the snot knocked out of him without his cheats. Proving once again how really pathetic they are.

Despite all it's flaws and lack of responsive admins this league is still the benchmark others must measure themselves. Their MOHAA ladders were on the verge of collapsing due to hacking prior to the launching of "The Reverend".

Now several months and several updates after its release "Reverend" is functioning like clockwork. Match times have decreased and cheating has been nothing more than a bad memory.

If your looking for a league to play in give them the once over. They have several ladders from 2v2 to 6v6 in classic or realism and tdm or objective.

One of the more unique clans to show up in the MOHAA community this year. You can always count on some highly skilled play on their server. I don't think they ever sleep. They are an easy going bunch of scallywags with a few simple rules. No Mods, No Cheating, No Foul Language and No Disrespect in the server. It's refreshing to be able to play without having to listen to some sewer mouthed delinquent or put up with unskilled noobs who feel it's necessary to hack to win.

If you are interested in match play they are always looking for skilled mature players. All 4 of their 6v6 squads are in the Top 20 on OGL.

Barely 7 months old their website www.bandofmutineers.us is already closing in on 20,000 hits.

The Rangers Lead The Way! This is one well organized clan. Their founder and Supreme Commander - SCAF6e - has kept them active in the MOHAA community and OGL since their conception. It's a great server 66.151.108.244 where you'll always find some good competition. Watch out for the C3's.

Being a relatively new clan to MOHAA the boys of Kiss our Ass have waisted no time proving themselves to be the new WHEENIES of the community. From their classless clan slogan "You don't just play, you get owned!" to their childish Bash of Fame & Crybaby pages on their website www.kissourass.com . I was playing on the =|BoM|= server, (by the way a very good server 66.98.195.123 and website www.bandofmutineers.us ) , and from their scores their clan name should be Kick our Asses. If the object of the game were to run around the maps waving a pistol with a negative score these guys would be World Champions!

The KoA clan leader Haus stopped by to offer me an anal probe for my review if I stopped by their server. Well playing under aliases is the only way I can insure that we are on an even playing field Mr. Haus. So the next time you are getting spanked in your own server know that its me. I've done it before and I'll do it again. By the way that anal probe offer no thanks unless.... your not a girl are you? hmmmmm

To be fair this clan is loaded with talent if they would pay less attention to bashing people and taking screenshots and  put more effort into actual gameplay they might live up to their name. Especially Hades, he is one tough hombre.

Post note: The results from their first match. Their name KoA Got Owned? fits like a glove because they did get owned.
